Be Back Later

I'm off to the Dr. this morning, but will try to grab a few bargains later today, and report back.

I ordered a few coupons last night...$1/1 Peter Pan peanut butter, which will supposedly be free many places with the coupon due to sales (to repair their reputation), and $2.25 off Electrasol, because I need to stock up, and it will be very cheap if not free depending on the sales.

I ordered from the coupon clippers, which is where I normally order from, when I do need to order.

Funny thing, all the Peter Pan peanut butter was stored at a HUGE refrigerated warehouse down the road from us here (they store every brand you can imagine there) and they transported the stuff to the county incinerator and Nik's boss had to spend the next 8 days of his life marking that every jar of the contaminated PB was incinerated.

Anyway, while I'm at it I'll put a plug in for ConAgra Foods and their Peter Pan peanut Butter. Normally we don't even use this brand of peanut butter but they sent out coupons to all employees for free pb after it was put back on shelves.

Nik said if there is any peanut butter that is safe to purchase, it is Peter pan because the facility they make it in is SO clean now and everything is updated and automated now, etc etc. Essentially, it is safer to eat this PB than any other brand. :)

Yeah, so people don't be afraid (if you were) to buy that peanut butter. We've had quite a few questions from people asking US if it was safe. ha ha.

We are big on Peter Pan. My mom won't eat any other kind. So, she was "off" peanut butter for a year, until they put it back on the shelves. I prefer Peter Pan, because that is what we always ate. Daniel and the kids will eat whatever. I'm glad to be able to get the Peter Pan again, and plan to get about 10 jars for my storage during this sale/coupon.

Well, if we ever live in Omaha again I'll see if they sell Peter Pan at the Employee ConAgra store and we'll be sure to send you some! Oh I miss that place- when I was pregnant I LOVED Curious George fruit snacks and we could buy 50 bags for $2 at the ConAgra family store.
